Indian players fined in match against Australia.

 

In the first ODI of the series against Australia, the match referee imposed a fine of 20% of the match fee on the Indian team for slow over-rate. According to the ICC, in the match against Australia, the Indian team bowled late.

The ICC also said in a statement that the Indian captain had admitted his mistake and accepted the ban, after which no further action was required.

It should be noted that Australia had defeated India by 66 runs in the first match of the three-match series.
