When a citizen in Ahmedabad, India, went to the police station a year later to retrieve his confiscated motorcycle, it was discovered that the motorcycle had been stolen from the police station.
According to details, the bike confiscated in May 2019 was stolen from Odhau police station, Ahmedabad. The bike belonged to Muhammad Junaid Qazi, a resident of Mahisagar, who was fined.
Police officials said that the motorcycle was confiscated on May 15, 2019 because it did not have a registration number plate and the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
Police said Junaid Qazi, the owner of the bike, had been missing for a year. He had gone to Doha, Qatar for work. When the Odhau police station arrived, it was found that the bike was missing. The police told the judge that they would be informed when the bike was found.
However, now police officials say that the FIR of motorcycle theft has been cut, stating that after May 2019, someone from the police compound stole the motorcycle by breaking the lock or unlocking it with a double cat key. Yes, the police are looking for the bike.
