The Chinese company had earlier introduced the Nova 7SE in April and now after 6 it has introduced an updated version, which comes with 5G support.
According to the company, the thickness of this new phone is only 7.46 mm while it weighs 178 grams and its design is very similar to the iPhone 12, which has flat frames and square shape on the island back.
The Nova 8 SE has a 6.53-inch FHD Plus OLED display with a 16-megapixel selfie camera hidden in the Water Drop Notch.
Nagarprint sensor is present inside the display while the screen has HDR10 support.
There are 2 versions of the phone, one with Dementity 720 and the other with Dementity 800 processor.
Both versions have 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, while the Android 10 operating system has been integrated by the company with its EMUI 10.1.
Needless to say, Google apps and services are not available on the phone due to US restrictions.
The phone is equipped with a 3800 mAh battery with 66 watt charging fast charging support.
The company claims that this phone can be charged from zero to 60 percent in 15 minutes and 100 percent in 35 minutes.
Other features include headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.1, dual SIM support and dual band Wi-Fi.
Both the versions have 5G support but the Dementi 720 has single SIM while the 800 Dementi has 5G connectivity on both the SIMs.
The back of the phone has a setup of 4 cameras with a 64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel Ultra Wide, 2-megapixel Macro and 2-megapixel depth information cameras.
The first phone is being offered for sale in China, with the 72-dimensional version selling for 2,599 yuan (over 62,000 Pakistani rupees) and the second model for 2,699 yuan (about 65,000 Pakistani rupees).
