Asad Omar, head of the National Command and Operations Center and a federal minister, has said that large quantities of vaccines will not be available in Pakistan before the summer.
Asad Omar said that as a result of carelessness, the number of Corona cases has quadrupled and it is feared that the situation in hospitals will be like June.
Regarding the Corona vaccine, he said that it was not possible to have a large quantity of vaccine available in Pakistan before the summer. The head of the National Command Center said that the NCOC had decided not to allow more than 300 people to gather and The Sindh government wants 50 per cent of the capacity to be allowed instead of banning outdoor events. He said that if we want to protect the people and the economy, then as leaders we have to ban ourselves.
It should be noted that during the second wave of corona in Pakistan, the number of cases is increasing rapidly and in the last 24 hours, 2208 more people were confirmed to be infected with corona virus and 37 people were killed, bringing the number of deaths due to the virus to 7230. The total number of cases has reached 363,380.
