Hospitals began to run out of space for Corona patients

 

There is a shortage of space for Corona patients in government hospitals in Karachi, after which the citizens were forced to go to private hospitals where they received millions of rupees before admission. 

All the beds in the 16-bed ward at Indus Hospital are full of patients. Jinnah Hospital has 90 beds for Corona patients, Jinnah has 24 HD Ubeds and 12 ventilators, Civil Hospital has 141 beds including HDU, ICU out of which 88 patients are undergoing treatment. In Civil, 7 ventilators are being treated while one is empty.

Lyari General Hospital has 60 bedded wards including ICU and HDU and 10 ventilators Lyari General Hospital. The ward of 30 beds in Dow Hospital was also filled while 66 beds of Napa Hospital are filled. The Field Isolation Center at the Expo Center treats 70 out of 150 bedded HD patients. Services Out of 40 beds in the hospital, 30 are empty for patients, there are no patients on ventilators.

The 100-bed ward at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital is still inactive. The ICU, HDU, and ventilators in the ward started licking the dust. The ward has been inactive for 4 months due to the lack of oxygen compression.

On the other hand, 7 beds have been filled in Ziauddin Clifton while 12 beds have been filled in North Nazimabad, 30 beds in Aga Khan Hospital, and 22 beds in Liaquat National Hospital are reserved for patients.
