Educational institutions will resume their educational activities from January 11 before reviewing the situation in Corona in the first week of January. There will be a review meeting in which the current situation will be considered. All the examinations which were supposed to be held in December have been postponed. However, entrance examinations and examinations for jobs will be allowed. Online educational activities will be launched. One-third of students will be allowed to stay in university hostels, including students from remote areas where Internet access is not available and foreign students will be included. Universities will decide for themselves whether to stay in hostels, to pursue a Ph.D. Students who are working in the lab for their project will also be allowed to come to the university, the federal education minister said, adding that various vocational training institutes where students are being educated in factories and workshops will also be allowed. They will continue their educational activities, teachers will be allowed to come to schools and schools will decide for themselves how many teachers they need. The Federal Minister said that the examinations of the Boards of Education were proposed to be held in May-June instead of March-April, while the summer vacations were also canceled and the new academic year was extended till August to make up for the loss of education. On the other hand, Punjab Education Minister Murad Rass said that not only the closure of schools in Corona will not do anything but also the entry of children into parks and shopping malls should be banned. Talking to media in Lahore, Murad Rass said that from this week All colleges, large and small, will remain closed until January 10. We did not want to close schools, but due to the growing cases of the corona, we had to make this decision. Children will not be allowed to go without homework and will be promoted to the next class based on homework. Teachers will have to come to school on Mondays and Thursdays two days a week, while 50 percent of teachers will come to school on Mondays and the remaining 50 percent on Thursdays. Meanwhile, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has said that this year children will not be able to attend classes without examinations. Will not be promoted, we suggest that all educational institutions should not be closed but if it seems so then primary schools with an enrollment of 73% should be closed while all classes of class 6 and above should be continued. They want to teach online, but if parents do not want to send their children to school and want their children to be educated at home, then schools must also take action against them. However, Saeed Ghani also said that under no circumstances will children be promoted to the next classes this year.
