The International Pakistan Prestige Awards (IPPA) has announced its fourth edition despite the global corona virus epidemic.
The first IPPA show was held in London in 2017 and since then the International Pakistan Prestige Awards have been held regularly every year.
Remember that the IPPA Awards are given every year in the categories of film, music, TV, fashion and sports.
However, due to the corona virus epidemic in the world, many major international events were either canceled or held virtually.
In these circumstances, IPPA's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder Ali Malik has taken the holding of the awards as a challenge despite the corona virus.
"We haven't had a year left yet, so we've decided to come up with a way to hold the show following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and end the year on a positive note," he said.
The award show will be held on December 26 this year in Istanbul, Turkey.
According to Ali Malik, most of the big stars who have been associated with IPPA in the past will be part of it this year.
He said that due to the corona virus, a venue with a capacity of 2,500 people has been selected for the show but only 600 people will be allowed to participate.
In the past, tickets have been sold at IPPA Awards locations, but this will not happen in Istanbul because there is not a large number of Pakistani immigrants there.
Instead, organizers have created a destination vacation format that will include watching the awards show.
Ali Malik said he would sell tickets to those who want to travel from Pakistan to Istanbul for a few days off.
He said that those who want to go to Istanbul will pay a package which will include rent, hotel accommodation where the showbiz personalities will stay and attend the awards show.
Ali Malik said that the second wave of Corona virus is spreading rapidly, it is dangerous for health as well as for business managers who have finalized venues and dates in this regard.
"It's important for us to take risks in terms of business," he said.
