After the meeting of the anti-government opposition Ittehad Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the current serious problem in the country is the economic crisis and the restoration of a real and constitutional system in the country. Talking to media along with PDM leaders in Islamabad, he said that PDM has discussed the past and future modalities of taking the movement forward and holding public rallies in different parts of the country. ۔
He said that PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also attended the meeting through video link.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that there would be a meeting of the steering committee regarding the charter in which all the parties would propose for the charter after which a unanimous charter would be worked out.
He said that the summit to be held in Islamabad would finalize the recommendations of the steering committee.
He said that senior police officers went on leave in the case of PML-N's Ketpan (R) Safdar in Karachi and then they were asked to submit an investigation report in this regard but no report came out even after 3 weeks. ۔
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that concern was expressed at the PDM meeting.
He said that an inquiry into the intervention of the Army Chief was called for within 10 days.
He said that why the decision in foreign funding case is being delayed so much, the world is being called a thief but Prime Minister Imran Khan is not ready to face the cases filed against him which shows that the whole dal is black.
Replying to a question, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that we respect the institutions but if one person can be named among the politicians, the Prime Minister, the President can be named, then the name of another person of the institution can also be mentioned. Can be taken
He said that there is no crime in this but if we want to move towards realism in this regard then some people are concerned and some people show realism, in fact there was no quarrel.
Earlier, Maulana Fazlur Rehman had said that all the opposition in Pakistan is united on the platform of PDM.
Speaking to media after the PDM delegation met the PML-N leaders, the PDM president had said that the government had proved incompetent and incompetent after two years of performance.
