An embarrassing video of a Lahore police officer has surfaced

A farmer's union leader was killed in alleged police violence in Punjab's provincial capital, following a video of a police officer instructing Water Cannon staff to pour chemical water on farmers.

The video shows a police officer wearing a bulletproof vest and helmet instructing Water Cannon crews to add chemicals to the water. "Do you know what to do?" Chemical plus water, without hesitation, just keep pulling, let them remember holiday milk.

Another man in the video told his officer that the farmers had to flee after spraying the chemical on the water cannon staff.

It may be recalled that a sit-in was called on Wednesday at Thokar Niaz Baig by the Pakistan Kisan Ittehad. Police tear gas shelling to disperse the protesters and sprayed with chemicals mixed with water on them. Malik Ashfaq Langarial, a farmer leader from Vehari, was injured in the police violence and was shifted to Jinnah Hospital, where he died on Thursday.

Police say Ashfaq Langarial was rushed to hospital on Thursday after suffering a heart attack, but Kisan Ittehad says he died of police brutality. On the other hand, the government has announced an investigation into the incident.
