Mahreen Jabbar, director and filmmaker of Pakistan Entertainment Industry, says that the industry is tired after 25 years. Mahreen Jabbar said in a recent interview that he is convinced to tell the story in different ways in dramas. Yes, he does not like to prolong the story for no reason. He said that prolonging the drama weakens the story.
In an interview, Mahreen Jabbar recalled an unpleasant experience of TV channel owners unnecessarily promoting dramas, saying that three years ago in 2017, he had directed a drama which consisted of 24 episodes. That the management of the TV channel increased it to 30 installments in order to make money in terms of advertisements.
Filmmaker Mahreen Jabbar said that due to such action, unnecessary and ignorant stories keep on increasing and the quality of drama also decreases but the TV management does all this in the cycle of its ratings.
Mahreen also praised the new talented artists during the interview, saying that there are many talented people in the industry right now who are punctual and take care of other people on the team.
