How long can the corona virus stay in a patient's body or how many times can a person be attacked? These are questions that scientists have somehow answered in their research, but now a horrible case has come to light of a patient who has proved all past answers wrong. According to Mail Online, this is the case of a 45-year-old British patient who was being treated at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He was infected with the coronavirus for 154 days, four times the severity of the corona virus in his body decreased and the doctors thought that he was now recovering.
After 110 days, one of his tests came back negative, but each time the severity of the disease decreased, the virus would attack him again with full force, and finally, 154 days later, the man died from the corona virus. Doctors said in the case that the man was diagnosed with autoimmune condition which caused the blood flow in his body to stop and blood started to flow from his lungs. The patient was treated with remdesivir and other antibodies, but to no avail. After four outbreaks of the corona virus, the patient eventually lost the battle with the plague and died. After researching the corona virus in the patient's body, the scientists said that the virus in the patient's body continued to evolve and change its form due to which the drugs could not affect him.
