Zimbabwe cricket team head coach Lal Chand Rajput was barred from visiting Pakistan on the basis of a travel advisory set up by India for its citizens.
The Zimbabwe cricket team arrived in Islamabad this morning to play a series of three ODIs and three T20I matches. Head coach Lal Chand Rajput was not with the squad.

The Indian embassy in Harare wrote a letter to head coach Lal Chand Rajput not to take him to Pakistan, saying that Lal Chand Rajput is an Indian national and should not be included in the tour as per the Indian government's travel guidelines.
Zimbabwe Cricket, on the other hand, has appointed bowling coach Douglas Hondo as head coach for the series, giving him additional responsibilities.
Sources said that the PCB had also provided all travel clearance documents to Zimbabwe Cricket for the squad's visa.
It should be noted that Lal Chand Rajput has played two Tests and four ODIs for India while he has also done coaching duties.
