Who was Maulana Adil Khan who was martyred in Karachi?

 
Maulana Dr Muhammad Adil Khan, who was martyred in Shah Faisal Colony area of ​​Karachi, was 63 years old. He was the eldest son of Shaykh-ul-Hadith Maulana Saleemullah Khan. He graduated from Farooqia University in 1973, BA in Human Science from Karachi University in 1976, MA in Arabic in 1978 and PhD in Islamic Culture in 1992, and Al-Farooq Magazine in 1980 (Urdu, English and Arabic). Is still the editor.

He stayed by the side of his father Maulana Saleemullah Khan in Tehreek-e-Saud-e-Azam. He was the Secretary General of Farooqia University Karachi from 1986 to 2010. For some time he lived in the United States, where he established a large Islamic center.

Maulana Dr Muhammad Adil Khan served as Professor in the Faculty of Revelation and Humanities from 2010 to 2018 at the renowned University of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In 2018, he was awarded the Five Star Ranking Award by Malaysia Higher Education in Research, Writing and Research. This award was given to him by the President of Malaysia. He has been a senior member of the Central Committee of the Federation of Arab Madrassas and chairman of many important committees such as the Finance, Curriculum and Constitutional Committee of the Federation of Madrassas.

Maulana Dr. Adil Khan was fluent in many languages, including Urdu, English, and Arabic. Ahkam fi ahadith, maqasid sharia, history of Islam, especially history of Pakistan and Urdu and Arabic literature.

Maulana Adil Khan left behind Maulana Mufti Muhammad Anas Adil, Maulana Umair, Maulana Zubair, Maulana Hassan, a daughter, widow, two brothers Maulana Obaidullah Khalid and Abdul Rehman in mourning, two sons Maulana Zubair and Maulana Hassan and one daughter residing in Malaysia. 

Maulana Adil Khan returned to Pakistan in 2017 after the death of his father Maulana Saleemullah Khan (may Allah have mercy on him). Referring to Maulana Obaidullah Khalid, he focused all his attention on the Jamia Farooqia Hub Chowki which he wanted to make a modern educational institution and university based on pure Arabic.
