Trump denies 'virtual election debate' with political rival

US President Donald Trump has refused to hold a virtual election debate with his political rival and presidential candidate Joe Biden.

"I'm not going to waste my time on a virtual debate," he was quoted as saying by Reuters.

In a phone interview with Fox Business after the announcement of the new format by the non-partisan commission in charge of presidential debates, Donald Trump said that "virtual debate is not a debate."

"You sit behind a computer and argue, it's ridiculous and they cut your line whenever they want," Trump said.

The US president said he wanted to hold election rallies with his supporters.

Presidential candidate Joe Biden, meanwhile, told reporters he would follow the commission's recommendations.

He said he did not know what he would do if Trump refused to participate.

"We don't know what Trump is going to do because he changes his mind every second," Biden said.

The Commission on Presidential Debates said it plans to host a town hall-style discussion and voters and moderators will ask candidates questions from the actual venue of the debate in Miami.

A virtual debate between Trump and Biden was planned for the second of the three, while the third election debate is expected on October 22.

The second political debate between US President Donald Trump and presidential candidate Joe Biden is scheduled for October 15.

On the other hand, an aide to Joe Biden said that the Democratic nominees are still ready to take part in the election debate.

Earlier, Biden had denied holding an election with US President Donald Trump.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has said that "if the US president falls ill because of Code 19, he will not be part of the scheduled election debate with Donald Trump next week."

The 77-year-old presidential candidate and Trump's political rival said he would like to see all health-related SOPs complied with.

It should be noted that on October 2, US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump fell victim to the corona virus.

On the social networking site Twitter, the US president confirmed that he had contracted the corona virus and said that he was going to quarantine.

He was transferred to Walter Reed Military Medical Center after being diagnosed with the corona virus by the US President.

On October 4, the US president's physicians claimed that Donald Trump, who was infected with the corona virus, was recovering well, while sources familiar with Trump's condition said that the symptoms of his vital signs were worrying and 48 hours is important.

When the virus first reached the United States, Trump said it would disappear as it came, despite being criticized several times for not wearing a mask in public.

Despite the resurgence of cases in the country, Trump has told his governors to try to revive the economy by reopening businesses instead of focusing on the rising death toll.

On September 30, Republican President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Biden clashed over Trump-led Corona virus, economic and security policies, including personal insults. Others were called by different names and Trump was repeatedly intervened.

According to Reuters, moderator Chris Wallace failed to control the debate.

Concerned about Donald Trump's repeated interference in the first part of the debate, referring to the Supreme Court, Joe Biden once said, "Will you stop your nonsense?" It's completely non-presidential. "

He later called Donald Trump a "Putin's dog, a clown, a racist," referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin and saying, "You are the worst American president ever."
