Giving instructions to Lahore administration and rescue, he said that all resources should be used to control the fire. The Chief Minister directed that first the people trapped on the roof should be evacuated and fire brigade vehicles should be called from other cities so that the fire could be brought under control as soon as possible.
The Chief Minister said that it was a priority to evacuate the people trapped in the plaza. A rescue spokesman said 33 fire brigade vehicles were currently battling the blaze, and 70 rescue workers were also involved. According to the rescue spokesperson, fire brigade vehicles have also been called from Sheikhupura. According to sources, the fire broke out in Hafeez Center due to a short circuit which has now spread to three floors.

The fire broke out on the second floor of the plaza, which has now spread to the fourth floor. Due to the severity of the fire, fire brigade vehicles have also been called from other districts.
