The government of Pakistan restored the short video sharing application Tik Tok to Pakistan only after 10 days on conditional permission.
The government blocked Tik Tok on October 9 this month for not removing immoral content.
The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) had shut down Tik Tok for not removing pornographic material despite repeated notices.
Although the Tik Tok Stars also supported the temporary closure of Tik Tok, everyone was of the opinion that the video app should not be permanently banned.
Shortly after the closure by the PTA, the Tik Tok administration began talks with the Pakistani government and assured the government that pornography would be removed.
Government ministers had also hinted a few days ago that Tik Tok would be restored soon after conditional permission and on the morning of October 19, the PTA had decided to restore Tik Tok.

The PTA restored Tik Tok in Pakistan on the afternoon of October 19 after conditional permission.
A statement issued by the PTA said that Tik Tok was restored with conditional permission.
