Despite the ban on tick talk by the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA), it continues to be used in the country through virtual private networks (VPNs), leading to a ban on these softwares. The court has been approached to do so.
According to the details, the report of private news agency Lahore News states that due to the ban on Tik Tok, after using it through VPN softwares, the court was also approached to ban VPN softwares. The federal government and others have been made parties in the petition.
It may be recalled that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) had recently taken notice of public complaints and banned the video sharing app Tik Tok indefinitely and a statement issued by the spokesperson said that Blocked, this move was made to share immoral content with this video sharing app.
