A lock in Midway, California, saved a woman from being abducted.
According to Crime Online, an unidentified man broke into the house and took the woman hostage and tried to kidnap her, but a lock saved her life.
It so happened that on Friday, when the lock maker went to change the lock of the door of a house in Midway, he noticed some suspicious movements there.
The locksmith kept doing his job and at the same time he kept his attention on suspicious movements. He saw a future man sitting next to the woman who had brought him to change the lock, and he did not leave.
The woman wrote a message on her hand to inform the locksmith of the situation and said that she was in danger at the moment, she wanted to get out of here.
When the locksmith reviewed the situation, he realized that the woman was being held hostage, then he decided to inform the police and in a very dramatic way reported the incident to the helpline.
The locksmith at the police helpline reported that when the woman asked for her mobile phone from a man sitting nearby, she showed me a handwritten message so that the kidnapper would not see her. The woman had the police helpline number 911 on her hand.
As soon as the police got the information, a female officer rushed to the spot and as soon as they knocked on the door, the abducted woman sped off and opened the door and informed the police about the incident.
Police arrested the kidnapper in the home, identified as 45-year-old Grant Nelson.
The woman informed the police after the arrest that the man entered the house on Thursday and then snatched my phone from me. Despite my repeated requests, he did not go out and threatened to inform the police or anyone. Will you burn down the house? The woman said she also sent two e-mails to police but received no response.
According to police officials, the accused has already been arrested for kidnapping and has already served his sentence in jail.
