The head of the Bank of England admitted

The head of the Bank of England, Andrew Belle, has said that Britain is facing an "extremely uncertain economic situation". The Corona virus caused the UK economy to shrink by 20% in the quarter ending June, the largest decline in any major developed economy. He made the remarks following the announcement of the toughest ban on corona virus in the UK once again. Belle said the danger is clear that economic growth will be lower than expected. Speaking at an online event on Sunday, he said he expected a 10 percent drop at the end of the third quarter compared to the last quarter of last year. He said the second wave of Corona has added to the risks and the economy is likely to continue to decline.
