The falcons of this species travel at speeds of up to 300 miles per hour and are found mostly in desert areas.

The hawks or hawks also have significant cultural significance in other desert Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, where they are kept as hobbyists.

People from a few other rich Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, travel to Pakistan and Morocco every winter to hunt other similar birds, including falcons.
