On this occasion, the Army Chief was briefed about the readiness of the officers and men deployed on the Line of Control. Talking to the officers and men, the Army Chief appreciated their high morale and readiness even in severe weather conditions and challenging environment. General Qamar Javed Bajwa urged to be fully prepared to respond effectively in case of any threat. During his visit to Gilgit, the Army Chief inaugurated a state-of-the-art software technology park and appreciated their efforts. The software technology park was created by the Special Communication Organization. The park will be instrumental in innovative research in the field of information technology, the project will play an important role in the development of cyber industry in the region. According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations Department According to ISPR, General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that software park in such remote areas is an encouraging step towards digitization.
