The ECCI on Monday announced the Indian cricket team for the tour of Australia. Team India has to play a series of three Twenty20, three ODI and four Test matches after the IPL hosted by Australia. The selectors for the tour of Australia met via video conferencing.

The players selected for the tour of Australia will remain in the biosecure bubble throughout the series. The ODI series will be played in Sydney and Canberra, followed by a four-match Test series. Team India head coach Ravi Shastri and bowling coach Bharat Arun will arrive in the UAE today for the tour. At the same time, Test specialists Pujara and Hanuma Vihari will also come to the UAE and complete their quarantine in Biobubble before joining the tour of Australia.
