The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) recovered 6 kg of gold and two sacks full of currency notes from the house of Khakrob of the Finance Department. In this regard, the NAB spokesperson said that the action was taken by the National Accountability Bureau Multan in Bahawalnagar city of Punjab province, as the National Accountability Bureau had received information that Khakrob Kaleem of the Finance Department was involved in making assets of illegal sources. On the basis of this information, when the house of the accused was raided by NAB Multan, more than 6 kg of gold was recovered from the house of Khakrob of the Finance Department.

According to the spokesperson, two sacks full of currency notes were found from the house of accused Kaleem alias 'Klu', while a sack full of prize bonds was also seized by the NAB.

The NAB spokesperson further said that the accused Kaleem alias Klu managed to escape during the raid, however, his brother Rashid was taken into custody, which will lead to further investigation into the case. Action will be taken to arrest the accused.

On the other hand, another news came out in recent days, according to which some armed men snatched Khakrub's salary and fled in Sukkur city of Sindh province. It has been reported that in broad daylight on Queens Road, the busiest area of ​​the city, armed accused snatched Rs 36,000 including her salary from Mesmat Lakshmi Bai, a scavenger of Sukkur Municipality, who was on her way home with her salary from the bank.
