The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) witnessed a positive trend on the third day of the business week. Gold prices fell by Rs 400 per tola.
According to a private channel, the stock market started trading at 40,006.68 on Wednesday and gained momentum during the first hour. Later, the stock market 100 index closed at 40,144.29, up 137.61 points. A total of 156,592,822 shares worth Rs 6,333,245,435 were traded in the stock market.
According to the All Pakistan Barter Association, the price of gold per tola has come down by Rs 400, after which its new price has gone up to Rs 116,100. The price of 10 grams of gold has come down by Rs 341 to Rs 99,537.
