It may be recalled that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an alliance of the major opposition parties, has planned meetings, rallies and demonstrations against the government.
Meetings will be held in major cities, including provincial capitals, in October and November. There will be nationwide rallies and demonstrations in December.
The United Opposition agreed to use all political and constitutional options inside and outside parliament. These include no-confidence motions and the option of collective resignations from assemblies.
Meetings will be organized by PML-N in Rawalpindi on October 15, Gujranwala on October 16 and Muzaffargarh on October 26.
According to a circular issued by PML-N, the meeting will be held on November 2 in Sargodha, November 6 in Faisalabad, November 10 in Sahiwal, November 23 in Komaltan and November 30 in Bahawalpur.
