Pakistan's biggest cricket tournament 'Quaid-e-Azam Trophy' starts in Karachi

 

Matches of Pakistan's biggest cricket tournament 'Quaid-e-Azam Trophy' started in Karachi. On the first day, Bismillah Khan of Balochistan scored a century, while Tabish Khan of Sindh dismissed 5 players.

The country's largest domestic cricket Quaid-e-Azam Trophy has started in Karachi, where six teams are competing.

It should be noted that this time a prize money of Rs. 17 million will be distributed in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

The first round of the tournament is being played at three different grounds in Karachi in which six teams are participating.

Defending champions Central Punjab are battling Sindh at the National Stadium in Karachi.

The Northern team is from South Punjab at the National Bank Stadium (NBP) and the Balochistan and KP teams are facing each other at the UBL Sports Complex.

Against Sindh at the National Stadium, Central Punjab scored 205 for 9 on the first day, Ahmed Shehzad scored 69 and Mohammad Saad scored 51 while Sindh's Tabish Khan took five wickets.

Bismillah Khan of Balochistan played an unbeaten innings of 102 against KP at the UBL Sports Complex, taking the team's score to 310 for 7, with Kashif Bhatti scoring 98 and Sami Aslam 57.

Meanwhile, Northern was bowled out for 165 against Southern Punjab at NBP Ground. Zahid Mahmood bowled out 4 players. In reply, Southern Punjab scored 174 runs for the loss of one wicket. Shaun Masood remained unbeaten on 80 runs.
