Because silence will give you time to think and understand and you will not do anything emotionally that you will later regret. Talk positively to yourself

In a state of intense emotion, a person often thinks negative things that work like oil on burning. While keeping yourself positive and thinking positive things will help you stay calm by creating feelings of patience and gratitude.
