A reference to close the inquiry into 12 plots against opposition leader National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif has been filed in the accountability court.
According to private TV, the NAB reference said that all the records have been burnt to ashes due to the fire in the LDA building. The allegations leveled against Shahbaz Sharif are not traceable and no evidence of Shahbaz Sharif's involvement has been found.
The text of the reference further states that several persons named in the inquiry have died. LD acquired the land of Mouza Nawankot in 1978 for the Gulshan Ravi Society.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif is currently in the custody of the NAB in a money laundering and excess assets case where a NAB team is investigating him.
