New cases of corona continue to rise in the UAE. In the last 24 hours, 1,538 new cases of the virus have been diagnosed on Wednesday.
The new patients are of different nationalities and all are in stable condition. The number of victims in the UAE has increased to 119,132.
In the last 24 hours, another 15,741 corona tests were carried out with the help of modern diagnostic equipment, the UAE's state-run news agency WAM reported, citing the Ministry of Health and Safety.
The statement said that further tests are being carried out under the early diagnosis and treatment policy of Corona victims.
In the UAE, the ministry said two more of the 19 patients undergoing treatment for COD 19 had died, bringing the total number of deaths to 472.
The ministry has urged citizens and expatriates to co-operate with health authorities and adhere to other precautionary measures, including maintaining social distance.
The statement further said that out of the 1,550 patients fully recovered from the epidemic, the total number of recoveries has increased to 111,814.
In the last 24 hours, 813 new cases were confirmed in Koir on Wednesday. The number of victims reached one lakh 18 thousand 531.
Kuwaiti News Agency Kona quoted a statement from the Ministry of Health as saying that 718 patients recovered in the last 24 hours. So far, the number of those who have been cured is one lakh 9 thousand 916.
There have been 7 more deaths in the past day. The death toll from Corona has risen to 721.
There are currently 7,894 active cases in Kuwait, of which 130 are in intensive care units.
In the last 24 hours, 7,560 corona tests were performed, the statement said. Since the onset of the epidemic, 849,662 tests have been performed.
