Central Punjab won the National T20 Cup Second XI, defeating Northern by seven wickets in the last match of the event and secured the first position in the points table.
National T20 Cup Second XI was played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
In the single league based tournament, Central Punjab won four out of five matches and secured the first position in the points table. In the last league match, Central Punjab defeated Northern by seven wickets.
Batting first, Northern scored 133 runs for the loss of 8 wickets, Aamir Jamal remained unbeaten on 38 runs and Waqas Maqsood took three wickets.
In reply, Central Punjab achieved the target in the 19th over for three wickets. Junaid Ali remained unbeaten on 66. Athar Mahmood sent two players to the pavilion.
