The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to exclude young fast bowler Naseem Shah from the National T20 Cup due to injury.
According to the details, the PCB believes that Naseem Shah has to be used very carefully so it has been decided to exclude him from the National T20 Cup while Waqas Maqsood will be included in the team in his place.
Waqas Maqsood, 32, is the highest wicket-taker in the second XI tournament with 8 wickets to be part of Central Punjab First XI while Naseem Shah will report to the PCB High Performance Center where he will be examined in detail.
Director of Medical and Sports Sciences Dr. Sohail Saleem said that Naseem Shah is the capital of Pakistan cricket and caution is needed in his case. As soon as Naseem Shah got into trouble, we did not allow him to play more matches of the tournament. Decided to call Lahore so that they could be examined in detail.
