Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has met US Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmai Khalilzad and Commander of US Support Mission General Austin to discuss issues of mutual interest, peace and stability in the region. A statement issued by the PR said that the meeting also discussed Pak-Afghan border management and progress in the Afghan peace process. On the occasion, Zalmai Khalilzad and General Austin praised Pakistan's positive role in the Afghan peace process. Pakistan's representative Muhammad Sadiq was also present.
