PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz issued a condolence message on the martyrdom of Maulana Dr Adil Khan.
In her message released on Twitter, Maryam Nawaz said that the martyrdom of Maulana Dr Adil Khan is a national tragedy. His efforts for Qur'an and Hadith and Da'wah and preaching are highly appreciated. May Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of Dr. Adil Khan Shaheed, grant patience to his family and all his relatives. Amen.
Maryam Nawaz condemned the assassination of Maulana Dr Adil Khan and demanded the arrest of the killers, saying that he was a proud son of the late Maulana Saleemullah Khan who promoted his father's intellectual legacy. His martyrdom is a heinous conspiracy against the inter-Muslim unity, which must reach the bottom, the gap created by his martyrdom will not be filled.
It may be recalled that Maulana Dr Adil Khan, the superintendent of Farooqia University Karachi, was martyred in Shah Faisal Colony area of Karachi on Saturday evening while returning from a meeting with Mufti Taqi Usmani at Darul Uloom Korangi.
