According to Al-Arabiya news agency, Levies officials said that the terrorists attacked at Bazi Top on Makran Coastal Highway in Ormara area of Gwadar district of Balochistan, about 300 km from Karachi. Pakistan's state-owned oil and gas development company (OGDCL) convoy vehicles have been targeted. Company employees were being taken to Karachi from Ormara in two vehicles and two FC 128 wing vehicles were with them for their safety. Unidentified assailants ambushed them in the mountainous area at Buzzi Top and fired indiscriminately at them with automatic weapons and also fired rockets. FC personnel also returned fire on the terrorists. A fire broke out in the fuel tank of a vehicle of Pakistan Army, killing six personnel and injuring several others. As soon as the attack was reported, Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, Coast Guard, FC, District Administration and Levies Force personnel rushed to the spot. The bodies and injured have been shifted to Nah Darman Jah Hospital in Ormara. On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan immediately called for a report on the Makran Coastal Highway incident and offered condolences to the families of the martyred personnel and prayed for their high ranks.
It is to be noted that terrorists also targeted a security convoy of Pakistan Army in Razmak area of North Waziristan or as a result six youths including an officer were martyred.
