Legendary Bollywood actor Yousuf Khan alias Dilip Kumar started remembering his old home.
Shiraz Hassan, a journalist with Urdu News, a social networking site, shared inside and outside photos of the Kapoor family's mansion in Qissa Khawani Bazaar, Mohalla Khudadad, Peshawar.
"This is Dilip Kumar's family home in Peshawar," he wrote.
Legendary actor Dilip Kumar viewed the shared photos of Shiraz Hassan and thanked him for refreshing his memories.
In his message, Dilip Kumar wrote, "Thanks for sharing these pictures." He asked the residents of Peshawar to send me pictures of the mansion if they have any.

It may be recalled that Yusuf Khan alias Dilip Kumar was born on December 11, 1922 in Peshawar area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Before the partition of the subcontinent, the Kapoor family lived in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Where he continued his business.
Dilip Kumar's father used to trade in fruits. After moving to Mumbai, in 1943, Dilip Kumar met the owners of Bombay Talkies who offered him the lead role in his film. 'Shooting began.
Yousuf Khan's first film was released in 1943 in which he played the role of Dilip Kumar.
It may be mentioned that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has recently decided to buy the properties of the Kapoor family in Qissa Khawani, Peshawar. Both the houses are in a dilapidated condition and will be handed over to the Archaeological Department to ensure the safety of the ancient buildings.

A letter has been sent by the Archaeological Department to the Deputy Commissioner Peshawar instructing them to implement Section Four on both the houses and fix their value. Both historic houses are in a very dilapidated condition, they will be purchased and restored to their original condition.
