Kuwaiti authorities have decided to fund aid to migrants stranded abroad due to the corona virus.
The Corona virus has left thousands of travelers stranded in other countries around the world with no one to ask about their plight, but Kuwait has made an important decision for migrants stranded abroad.
Kuwaiti Minister of Social Affairs Maryam Al-Aqeel has said that those who have been stranded abroad due to Kuwait 19 will be given financial assistance and has decided not to deduct their dues.
Maryam Al-Aqeel clarified that the financial support will be given to those who have spent at least 275 days in Kuwait continuously or intermittently.
The Kuwaiti minister said that if they have been out of Kuwait for more than 90 days, the deduction will be made. Similarly, if the stay is for 180 days, the financial assistance will be for only 90 days.
