Karachi: After the targeted killing of Maulana Adil Khan in Shar-e-Quaid, display of weapons in public places was banned.
According to ARY News, a police spokesman said that steps were being taken to ensure the rule of law. The display of weapons in public places in the city has been banned.
Police say legal action will also be taken against plainclothes gunmen, and a ban on displaying licensed weapons in public places will apply.

It should be noted that Maulana Adil Khan was targeted and martyred in Shah Faisal Colony area of Karachi yesterday. Police have not been able to arrest his killers yet.
In order to control the law and order situation in Karachi, the ban on double riding was imposed by the Sindh government, which has been lifted recently.
