Consumers using Apple iPhone in China have complained that the edges of its new series iPhone 12 are so sharp that it hurts the fingers.
India Today, citing a report by Chinese gadget review website Yards China, said that Chinese users have complained about the sharpening of the edges after using the new iPhone.
Consumers are claiming that the use of the new iPhone causes their fingers and palms to turn red and make it difficult to hold.
The report says that the users who bought the first iPhone, they found the edge of the smartphone sharp.
Users have also shared photos of their fingers and palms.
In one picture, one user has a wound on his finger while the other user has red marks on his palm.
The report said that some people agreed with the consumers while some rejected it saying that it was an exaggeration.
The design of the iPhone 12 series is similar to that of the older model, the iPhone 5S.
The edges of the iPhone 12 and mini are made of aluminum, while the edges of the iPhone 12 Pro and Max are made of stainless steel.
Its sharp-edged website has not confirmed whether this is really the case with the iPhone series.
FiveG connectivity has been added to the iPhone 12. Apple expects former iPhone users to be interested in the new set, which will have a positive effect on sales.
