Iranian authorities arrested another 500 Pakistani nationals from various Iranian cities who were trying to enter Europe illegally and handed them over to the Levies administration at the transit gate in Taftan. The men entered Iran illegally and without travel documents. The arrested Pakistanis include 77 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 399 from Punjab, 5 from Sindh, 2 from Balochistan and 17 from Azad Kashmir. He was also screened at the transit gate by the paramedics staff of the health department. According to Levies sources, all these Pakistanis wanted to go to Europe from Iran for better employment. After the initial operation, all the arrested Pakistanis were handed over to the FIA.
