Rome: An Italian company has developed a unique motorcycle equipped with the latest technology in which a radar system has been installed.
According to international media reports, the Italian technology company Ducati has introduced a 'radar' bike equipped with a modern system for motorcyclists.
"This is the first motorcycle to be introduced worldwide that incorporates radar technology," the report said.
The radar mounted on the front and rear of the motorcycle weighs 190 grams, which is equivalent to an action camera.
According to a company spokesperson, "The radar system will not cause any inconvenience to motorcyclists as it will help them to automatically distance themselves from other riders on the road."
The radar system will also alert the motorcyclist about the speed of vehicles coming from the side and from behind, and if a vehicle is speeding from behind, the motorcyclist will be notified.
The company has not yet commented on the price of the motorcycle, nor has it said when it will be available in the market.
