An Indian government committee tasked with projecting the corona virus has said that by February next year, about half of the country's 1.3 billion people are likely to be infected with the corona virus.
According to the committee, this will help reduce the spread of the epidemic. It should be noted that currently 7.5 million people in India have been infected with the corona virus and it is the second most infected country after the United States.
However, after the epidemic pack (highest rate) in September, it has started to decline, and according to a foreign news agency, an average of 61,390 new cases are being reported daily in India.
Manindra Agarwal, a professor at the Indian Institute for Technology Kanpur and a member of the government committee, says that according to our mathematical model estimates, 30 per cent of the population is currently affected by the epidemic and it will reach 50 per cent by February.
