Gilgit-Baltistan elections, Chaudhry brothers came to the field

 

Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi have said that elections in Gilgit-Baltistan should be fair and transparent. Everyone should have the opportunity to participate freely in these elections.

According to a private channel, the caretaker Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Mir Afzal Khan called on the President of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi at his residence in Lahore. The meeting was also attended by Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Shafi Hussain and GM Sikandar. He said that our party has always recognized the importance of this region, it is very important for the security, defense and economic development of Pakistan which cannot be ignored.

On the occasion, caretaker Chief Minister Mir Afzal Khan said that the demand for granting interim provincial status to Gilgit-Baltistan was first put forward by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. Chaudhry Shujaat has played an important role in the development, prosperity and protection of rights of the region.
