Ghazi Vice Admiral Iqbal Fazal Qadir of Dwarka operation dies

 

In September 1965, Ghazi Fazl Admiral (Retd.) Iqbal Fazal Qadir of Dwarka Operation died in Karachi. According to Pakistan Navy spokesman, Vice Admiral Iqbal Fazal Qadir Dwarka was commanding PNS Alamgir during the operation.

He was commissioned in the Operations Branch of the Pakistan Navy in 1951. In recognition of his services, he was awarded Hilal Imtiaz (Military) and Sitara Basalt.

Meanwhile, according to Pakistan Navy spokesman, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi paid homage to Vice Admiral Iqbal Fazal Qadir and prayed that Allah would elevate the ranks of the deceased and grant patience to his family.

Ghazi Vice Admiral Iqbal Fazal Qadir of Dwarka operation passes away, condolences of Naval Chief.

The Admiral added that the services of Vice Admiral Iqbal Fazal Qadir for national defense and security will always be remembered.
