The Ulema Committee has given the government 48 hours to arrest the killers of Maulana Dr Adil.
According to private TV, a meeting of Ulema Committee Karachi was held on the tragic incident of martyrdom of Maulana Dr Adil Khan and a statement has been issued.
The Ulema Committee said that after the martyrdom of Maulana Adil and the funeral prayers are peaceful, the government should take serious steps instead of making formal statements. Provide security to other scholars including Maulana Adil's institution.
The Ulema Committee has said that the killers of Maulana Adil Khan will be arrested within 48 hours. If not, there will be strikes and protests and the wheel will be jammed all over the country.
It may be recalled that Maulana Dr Adil Khan, the superintendent of Farooqia University Karachi, was martyred in Shah Faisal Colony area of Karachi on Saturday evening while returning from a meeting with Mufti Taqi Usmani at Darul Uloom Korangi.
