It should be noted that Pakistani filmmakers and actors have repeatedly stressed the need for a local and government level OTT platform.
In Pakistan, users have access to other streaming websites including Netflix, iFlex and various streaming websites including YouTube are also launching various online series.
However, there was no online streaming platform in Pakistan that was offered locally.
It should also be kept in mind that Pakistan's 5 original online series will be released on the Indian streaming website Z5, one of which was released in August.
Foreign Web Platform With the release of Pakistan's first original web series, the need for a similar platform was emphasized by many.
When Pakistan's first government streaming website will be launched and what content will be aired on it is yet to be announced.
