The FATF has decided to continue monitoring Pakistan for money laundering and sabotage financing. Pakistan's first follow-up report was reviewed at a meeting in Paris.
According to private TV, the report said that Pakistan fully implemented two of the 40 recommendations of the FATF, no progress was made on Pakistan's recommendations on four issues, partial on Pakistan's 25 points and highlighted on 9 recommendations. Progress made.
The report further said that Pakistan is taking rapid steps to curb the financing of terrorists, passed anti-money laundering and laws to curb the financing of terrorism.
It should be noted that the FATF plan will be held from October 19 to 21. The meeting will decide whether to put Pakistan on the FATF gray list or not.
