Facebook announces US presidential election

Facebook, the world's largest social networking site, has announced it will not run ads during the US presidential election next November.

According to a report by a foreign news agency, the social website Facebook has announced that during the US presidential election to be held next November, it will not publish advertisements based on social issues, political and election claims.

The Facebook administration says that booking of all kinds of political and social advertisements will be stopped one week before the presidential election.

According to a report by technology website The Verge, Fees has announced that it will not publish advertisements during the US elections after criticism of US President Trump.

It is to be noted that the US President had expressed concern over the advertisements on Facebook during the presidential debate a day ago and said that the advertisements on the website could harm the elections.

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced last month that his website would not run ads during the US election.

Mark Zuckerberg said his website would not accept any political, social or election-affecting ads from the night of October 27 to the night of November 3, 2020.

It is believed that Facebook has in the past been accused of publishing advertisements influencing the US election, and during the 2016 election, it was alleged that Facebook had published advertisements that led to Donald Trump. Helped to win.
