According to international media reports, an Australian court has convicted a man of publicly torturing a veiled Muslim woman and sentenced him to three years in prison.

"It was not an Islamophobic attack or a racist affair. I don't hate them at all, but I don't want to be with them and I don't care about them," she said.

The court ordered the convict to be jailed for three years without payroll.

On November 24 last year, Australian police arrested an extremist who publicly tortured a pregnant Muslim woman while she was eating at a hotel.

Rana Haider, a 31-year-old Muslim pregnant woman, was attacked by a 43-year-old Australian extremist in Parmota, New South Wales, while eating with her friends at a hotel.

Australian social media and Islamic organizations have spoken out against the incident after CCTV videos of a Muslim pregnant woman being tortured by an extremist man surfaced, while the victim also posted on Facebook about the incident.

Police arrested the extremist after the video surfaced and the victim posted a Facebook post.
