A gas leak in a building in the Iranian city of Ahvaz has killed five people and injured nine others.
According to the news agency, the blast took place in a residential building located in the market of the city of Ahvaz in southwestern Iran. The Ahwaz blast completely destroyed two residential buildings, while nearby buildings and shops were also damaged.
The news agency added that the dead in the Ahwaz gas leak blast included a woman and four men.
Ahwaz Gas Leakage Search and rescue work is underway for those trapped in the rubble of the blast-damaged building.
