Cricket in the Saudi desert: The ICC could not live without praise

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has shared on its Twitter handle a picture of cricket players in Saudi Arabia's Al-Raba Al-Khali desert, saying that there is a wonderful background.

The ICC has given credit to Usman Ali for playing this game of cricket in front of red sand dunes.

Twitter users have also made interesting comments, describing the cricket scene in the desert of Saudi Arabia as beautiful and unique.

A user named Sachin commented that we should now include teams from Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries in world cricket competitions. These countries have been hosting cricket matches for decades.

A Twitter handle by the name of Michael Dean wrote that cricket is being played on Mars. Commenting on the ICC tweet, Kumar Abhishek said, "I am glad you did not ask me to name the stadium."

Some users pointed to the heat in the desert, while others said not to dive to stop the ball when there was no grass on the ground.

The handle called North Stand Gang wrote that whatever it is, it will not dive into the boundary line, otherwise it will soon have to be sifted and roasted at the same time.

Commenting on the tweet, Masood Ahmed said that looking at the background, one should not forget the intensity of heat in the desert.

Twitter user R Ansari wrote that it is more likely that the cricket players in this picture will be from Pakistan and India.
